Pondlet is a small site and collects as little as possible. This page explains what is stored, where, and why.

Your jar

Your jar is stored in your browser’s local storage under the keypondlet.jar.v1. It never leaves your device unless you choose to export or share a snapshot. We do not have an account system and cannot see your jar.

Clearing your browser’s site data will delete the jar. Export it first if you want a backup.

Analytics

If analytics are enabled, the site uses Google Analytics 4 to count page views and understand which guides are useful. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can block it with a browser extension or content blocker without affecting the jar.

Advertising

Guide pages may show advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. This is how the guides remain free.

Where required by law, a consent message is shown before advertising cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time through that message or your browser settings.

Payments

Optional cosmetic purchases are processed by Stripe. Pondlet does not receive or store your card details. Stripe’s privacy policy applies to the payment flow.
