By using Pondlet you agree to these terms. They are intentionally short. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The simulation

Pondlet is a simplified model of a freshwater jar, not a guide to real animal care. It is provided for entertainment and education. Do not rely on it for decisions about real aquariums, animals, or water chemistry. Real ecosystems are more complex and less forgiving.

Your jar and your data

Your jar is stored locally in your browser. You are responsible for keeping backups if you care about a particular jar. We cannot recover a jar that was deleted by clearing browser data, using a private window, or changing devices.

Virtual items

Coins and cosmetic items are virtual, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred or exchanged. Cosmetic purchases unlock items for the jar stored in the browser where the purchase was completed. We may adjust the catalogue, prices, or simulation rules over time.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the site, access other users’ data, scrape it at a harmful volume, or use it to break the law. Do not copy the guides or the simulation wholesale and present them as your own.

Content and availability

The site and its content are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of Pondlet at any time. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site.

Guide pages may contain advertising and links to third-party sites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.
